Murder of a Six-year-old Girl in island of Bute

The Scottish police has arrested a man on the remote and tiny island of Bute (Scotland), just 122 square kilometers and about 7,200 inhabitants, as the alleged perpetrator of the murder of Alesha MacPhail, who was six years old. The girl was visiting several relatives, including her grandparents and her father, on this island located in the east of Scotland.

His body was found Monday in a wooded area near the town of Rothesay, the main town of Bute, a quiet territory with just 4,900 inhabitants. The death of the little girl has shocked this nation in the north of the United Kingdom. This afternoon, the police had seized several goods, among which there is a vehicle, in order to try to clarify the investigation, according to the BBC. The agents confirmed on Tuesday that the body found on Monday in a wooded area belongs to the girl. His body was located near the street of Ardbeg, where his grandparents live. The disappearance of MacPhail had been denounced by his grandmother on the previous morning, Monday, about 6.25. “Detective Superintendent Stuart Houston: ‘Have you seen anyone acting suspiciously in the vicinity of Ardbeg Street, where MacPhail was on Sunday night, early Monday, when the girl’s body was found?
